What is the OPG?

The Oily Pipes Gang Motorcycle Club is a brotherhood of vintage 2 stroke motorcycle enthusiasts established in 2004. Member’s bikes range from daily riders, clean low mileage originals, stock restorations, to full blown customs. We thrive on riding, wrenching, restoring, chopping, modifying, tuning, racing, and anything else one could do with an old 2-smoker. Comprised mostly of Yamaha RD350s, RD400s, R5s, and RZ350s, we have a few large group rides throughout the year mainly in PA and NJ (members come from up and down the east coast…PA, NJ, NY, DE, CT, MD, VA, etc.) while the closely knit local guys get together frequently as possible.

Join us… the OPG isn't limited to just Yamaha's, feel free to bring your Kawasaki H1/H2 triples, Suzuki T500 or GT550. We are open to all makes and models, as long as it’s powered by a two stroke engine.

OILY PIPES GARAGE PRODUCTS

Aluminum Rear Brake Drum Spool/Spacer & Lower Rear Engine Mount Spacer
Lose about a 1/2 pound of weight and look great doing it with a lightweight aluminum rear brake drum spool/spacer and lower rear engine mount spacer. Fits all RD250, RD350, R5, DS7.

RD400 Swingarm/Drum Brake Conversion Steel Spacer/Bushing
This steel spacer/bushing is necessary when using a 1" longer RD400 swingarm on an RD250, RD350, R5, DS7 or converting an RD400 to rear drum brake (an easy method to install lighter spoked wheels to replace the heavy mag rims). This bushing is used on the r/s (larger) axle slot on the 400 swingarm. OD is sized for axle slot in arm, ID is sized for axle to pass through. Will also work with RD400 aftermarket aluminum swingarms.

Original owner 1970 R5 with 102,000 miles!

Richard and Cecelia's 1970 R5 350 was bought brand new in 1970. The first pic is Richard with his factory-fresh R5 in 1970. The second pic is a close up of the speedo at 99,999.9 miles. The third pic is Cecelia on the R5 in Corpus Christi, TX shortly after they were married in 1981. They still own the bike, which currently has over 102,000 miles logged on it. Amazing!
